Restorations and image alterations

When you take a snap shot it captures that moment in time. However the problem with any photos is they fade and can become damaged over time.

You can't go back a retake the photo, but thankfully it is possible to bring back some old prints to former glory and repair allot of the damage. With modern software.

I can breathe new life back into old and tired photos. The following is possible on a wide range of damage and ageing artefacts.

Object removal and effects

A great looking photo can be ruined by an unwanted object in the scene. A family photo with a lamppost in the background sticking out of someone's head. A beach scene tarnished with a half naked man in the background, power lines cutting across a skyline or maybe you just want someone removing from a much loved picture (I won’t ask why).

Also we can add content and create special effects such as turning a photo black and white but leaving 1 part in colour. Drop me an e-mail if you have any special requests.

		To the left we see a beach photo with a couple of figures walking along. These figures were removed and the areas they covered patched over with info from the surrounding image. Like magic they have disappeared just leaving the Beach Photograph.

Badly exposed photo	New background	To the left we see a perfect Daddy, Daughter picture ruined by a badly exposed photo, washed out in a blue hue and a large gentleman, half naked, in the beach behind. What can I do to make this better? Simply take the nice rock scene, use that as background and take the foreground characters and put them onto a new background and turn the image black and white.
		The final result, an image worthy of pride of place on the family picture wall. Why hide away an otherwise perfect picture because of a few camera artefacts or unwanted background images. By carefully blending together different photos I can create something memorable to become part of your family album. You will be surprised at what can be achieved with a little time and effort.
